Fiesta Silver1.4
Hi, i had a rear to rear slow collision with a Vectra april 18th 2008 (no dammage to vectra, i had a nice big dint). I was told by Kwik Fit (my insurer) they would settle for 50/50 and would be solved. I have heard nothing in over 9 months and i renewed my insurance 07-01-09 only to find i had a claim against my name for that date. My insurance has now gone up liek 400 due to this? is there anything i can do, they have not let me know anything or been in touch. I dont know if i or he won or was a 50-50 outcome. Is this proceedure? Thanks Rob.
Helena
Who went into the back of who ? 99% of people who have someone run in the back end of them claim whiplash and all that like and insurance companies won't bell you over it. I had a very very very minor accident about 2 months ago I went into the back end of someone and they've put in for whiplash. Got a letter to my house from lawyers for compo, forwarded it to my insurers and they are dealing with the rest. Just gotta hope I get a miracle quote when insurance is due renewel. I wuoldn't mind but theres absalute no damage to my car atall she had a tiny dint about the size of a pound coin in her bumper and I'm getting proper stung for it now ha. jasmeet
it not unusual for claims to take ages to settle. just fight you corner saying that it wasnt your fault.
