SeanW
My first car was called "Brum" - but my ex decided to call it "Crum" because it kept CRUMbling around my ears! Poor little Punto :( It's still going!! Anywhoo...the Focus is/was called Freddie. Again, partly because of my ex - she bought a Fiesta a few weeks after I got the Focus, and decided to call her Frankie. So of course, the Focus needed a name too. However, I have NEVER called the car anything other than "car" lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app
FOCA
Ive had my car 9+ years, ive pulled it apart and put it back together, and when i put it back together, i changed a lot of it, putting a lot of my ideas into it - untill its the only one of its kind I almost feel ashamed that its only called "my car" "the car" "the Mondeo" i suppose a while back when i kept turning the Boost pressure up too high and blowing the boost hoses off i had other names for it - none printable here, though!

jeebowhite
haha, I have a list of cars and names: Citroen AX - 95 - Duncan Fiesta 54 - Greg Focus 55 - Frederick (it was a better class of car compared to the other two - certainly to what I was used to - so we thought he would be referred to by full name) Ceed 10 - Kerry - The horn was wussy and cack, I will explain my reasonings below and want to emphasise this is not sexist at all :p - so I thought it was better having a womans name. CMAX 55 - Alex - Not entirely sure why Mondeo 57 - Mindel - Because one of the guys on the forum mistyped mondeo, and it stuck.. Plus with my luck it seems if my car has a ladies name (such as Kerry above) the car has no real issues and behaves itself). I tend to go on the basis of using the cars horn to determine if its a male or female car, so for example, if its a deep beefy horn, then it tends to be a bloke. If its horn is more of a gentle nature, or is in Kerry's case a very timid and quiet example, then I tend to refer to it as a woman. On this ocassion though, Mindel is a pleasure to drive, and since I want her to look after me, I thought I would nominate her to be a woman, but in the event that I need to use the horn, she knows how to tell the idiot ahead to get off the effin jeffin road! :p
