Mk4 Fiesta Ghia Do They Have A.b.s ??

Featured Replies

Mark 4 fiesta ghia Year2000 1.242 zetec's do they have abs??

I know my 1999 Ghia had ABS so I would hope 2000 do as well

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

my W reg (2000) lx did not have abs :-(

Jamie

I would be guessing yes. If when you turn the key on an ABS light turns on then off then it has ABS. My 52 Freestyle does not have ABS.

Alternatively you could brake really hard and see if it kicks in ;) (Not recommended. Do not try.)

Why not just look behind the wheel for an electric cable going towards the hub and clipped onto the shock?

ABS was optional on some models, Our '99 model had 2 options available, the safety pack which was passenger airbag and ABS and 5 doors.

ABS should have vented disks, but the don't all.
