Boot Won't Open Through The Internal Button

Hello people! First time here.

I've got an issue in my Ford Mondeo GHIA MK3 2002 ,

When I press the internal 'boot open' button, nothing happend.

As for opening physically using the key - everything's OK.

I guess it's a common issue so I'm asking here.

Do you have any idea what can cause the issue, and how to solve it?

    sounds like the connection may have come loose. Pop the boot with the key, then remove the plastic shell around the door. Then you need to check that the connections are all solid between the looms and the latch mechanism.
