Broken Bluetooth Module

Featured Replies

Hi there,

The bluetooth and aux in my fiesta doesn't work, which i'm fairly sure is down to a faulty bluetooth module. The one I have at present is an 8A5T-19G488-AL.

Would I be able to just plug in an 8M5T-19G488-AJ to fix the problem?

Also, what would the costs be to add USB?

Cheers

The module 8M5T-19G488-AJ is noted down in the ford ecat as:

From: 21-07-2008 To: 02-10-2008 Fiesta 2008-, BT/VC Phone Interface Only,
Voice Activated Module - British

If you could send me your reg then I may be able to help further.

Regards Rob

Yes it would be fine. For USB as well you'd need a different module, wiring loom, fascia trim for below the gear stick & silver trim+rubber cap for USB port. The ECU then needs reprogramming by a Ford techie.
