Dash Lights Only On With Main Lights

Featured Replies

My dash lights for speedo and rev counter etc only come on with my side lights and main lights. Is it possible to get them to come on permanently without my main lights?

Sometimes it can get a bit cloudy or under trees and you can't see your speed etc.

The dash lights in my mrs 09 fiesta come on right away. Mines an 06 Zetec mondeo

I believe that this was never an option with your car.

Maybe someone can suggest an ignition live connection that can be spliced to.

I would say that it should be possible, if you take a a couple of spare wires - a couple of Positaps, and you can tap into the lighting wires from the ignition live, so that the ignition wire also powers the LED's on the cluster, the positaps will make life a little easier and cleaner for getting into the cable and you dont need to splice any wires!
