I've not used it personally but i would give it a try.

I generally keep a bottle of fuel additive on reserve for such time that I'm undertaking a long journey,

I find these additives to be most effective when used on a consistent long journey where the whole system achieves normal operating temperature for a consistent period of time.

I used it every service on my Pajero and found it far better than redex. Would put half in the new fuel filter and the rest in the tank. Might give it a go as I have two full cans left

+1 avoid Redex mate,

It strips oil from engine parts ends up doing more harm than good,

Magic bullet is said to be the best stuff for diesels,

Also blank your EGR with a stainless steel blanking plate and fit a Green Cotton Performance Induction filter for maximum MPG and clean motoring,
