Irish Meet August 2014/2015

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

Just thinking if anyone living in Ireland (North and Republic) would be interested in a meet somewhere in the Republic of Ireland at the end of August. All members welcome. Would be nice to finally meet other members in person.

Thoughts, ideas and recommendations would be appreciated :)

Hassen

Awesome. That's 3 of us so far. Would love to get some pictures of the cars as i am interested in photography. Now to find the time to clean my car lol

I might be interested depending on how far south it is. I'm right at the very North or Ireland :-/ (more or less)

So far, haven't decided on a place and will try to find one that would suit most people.

Suggestions for places welcomed. So far we have 4 people interested. Thought there was more of us in Ireland on the forums. Maybe if you know anyone interested to spread the word :)

Cheers

Lol. It's funny how I haven't seen you driving around yet as I tend to notice other Foci more than other cars :)

If you need help with mods, give me a shout. Would love to share ideas with a fellow enthusiast. My wife has had enough of me talking about the car :P

I'm in Derry, anyone near there ?

Do you drive a black zetec s by any chance hassen?

How far is that from Tullamore? :P

Lol not a clue. I'm about 1.5hrs away from Belfast if that helps.

It's a black Zetec, with blacked out rear tints and the sports pack alloys. Sadly it's not a Zetec S :(

It's very ordinary looking which I like a lot as I don't get pulled over that often here. There are always checkpoints around Tullamore for red diesel.

Lol, well, to be fair, it does look and probably sounds like a petrol/ST Focus. Bet you were grinning like a big kid when they waved you through :P

I honestly don't think it's because of the appearance of my car (well maybe black tinted windows) that I get pulled over, rather the fact of Me driving and the music being loud. I once got the Garda car follow me round town until I got into my estate and to my driveway because they music was ?too loud (not that loud according to me). It was kinda funny as my next door neighbour is a Garda and he was saying hello to them after :)

id be interested too if its not to far south im about 10 miles from the tip of ireland lol

Lenny, fire away with suggestions as we might as well put our thinking caps on and start planning ahead. I don't mind driving as long as it's not a huge trek. Once I get home, I will look up some places.

By the sounds of it, halfway between Northern Ireland and Republic would suit the majority of us? Do correct me if I'm wrong :)

Looking forward to this and getting excited: First FOC Ireland meet :)
