SO... as of tomorrow (Thursday 18th June) my beutiful little car will be BUILT! HORAAAH! After a long 82 day wait (almost 12 weeks) it's finally built.

I have the chasis number, so how long after the build do you think the ETIS system will pick up the chasis number? Maybe the next day? 19th? Hopfully it should register on the ETIS database as soon as its been stamped?

Now I will just have to wait on delivery time from Cologne to the UK (How long did your take guys?)

Mine was supposed to take around 10 days. But then was late by 3 weeks :D oops :)

I'm hoping to get a phone call within the next 2 days to say mine is at the dealers!!

Depending on the shipping date and multiple pre delivery inspections (or whatever else they do with it), id estimate another two week before getting your hands on it.

Your local dealer should have an accurate estimate.

Just go to this site and register, you can then enter your VIN and find out all sorts of fascinating details about your car! mine was born on the 31st March 2009! Didn't actually get my hands on it til the 29th May though, some sort of shipping delay or something, apparently it was in Norway for a bit.

Hmmmm yeah, hadn't noticed till you said... don't you think that's the great thing about Hot Magenta, it looks so many different colours depending on the sun (or lack of it) The joys of Hot Magenta indeed!

It'll probably take a few days for them to register it on the system, there's not exactly much to check out on there without a subscription anyway.

Still checking. Checked the VIN number (WF0GXXGAJG9R08565) just a second ago and nothing as of yet.

I presume it will be up in the next few days? However I tried checking my mates fiesta via the reg number (i don't know his VIN) and that didn't return any results either. Are all Ford's kept on the ETIS system, or just newer ones?
