I just had a look and my interior is TRUDY!

That's right - Trudie New and Dotts is the material combination used for the Zetec and Titanium (we have a Zetec). The usual colour scheme for it is Syracuse and Fairland (very dark grey and a slightly lighter shade of dark grey - our dealer always referred to it as "Fairyland" which made me smile) but for a few external colours it can be had in Soho and Syracuse (Soho is maroon) - there's the choice of either on Frozen White for example.

I've noticed a strange thing - the lower trim levels (Style, Style+ and Econetic) but not the lowest one (Studio) actually have a larger variety of trim choices than the posher ones. Not only do they have the choice of Bright blue dash etc. (like the Zetec S), but they also have Florida/Dark Florida colours on the chart (sort of caramel and dark tan - not sure how good an idea it is, but it's different!) and either the Ingot finish (matte silver) for the centre of the dash like the Zetec S, or one called Topaz, which is a warmer matte metallic shade (Fiesta Zetecs and Titaniums always have Sterling, the bright silver with a varnish coat on it). Even stranger, they have two choices of seat material - Ecrin on the Florida and Syracuse colourways (which reminds me of striped deckchairs for some reason) or Perception on the Bright Blue interior, which is more of a random bubbles pattern - again, taking Frozen White as an example, it can be had either in Syracuse Ecrin or Bright Blue Perception, so actually has the choice of two different patterns as well as colours. Strange that the choice is wider lower down the range... (though of course the Zetec S and Titanium also have the choice of leather, which none of the others do).

I presume it will be up in the next few days? However I tried checking my mates fiesta via the reg number (i don't know his VIN) and that didn't return any results either. Are all Ford's kept on the ETIS system, or just newer ones?

I've seen older Fords on there, though the information about them isn't as extensive. I don't know if the VIN number entry is quicker, but when our friends had a new Fiesta they asked me to check before it arrived and only gave me the registration number - but it didn't appear on ETIS until 2 weeks after they received the car, in the event. Our own may not have done either, for all I know, as I only heard of ETIS just over two weeks after we got it.

I could only find mine in ETIS by VIN number. The reg number has never worked. Weird.

Just checked Etis, it says mine was built at Niehl Plant Built which is part of cologne.

If your car has, or did have in the past, a personalised plate the I believe you can't track it down on Etis - you need the VIN. Not sure when VINs are assigned to a car - I presume when it actually exists ...... anyone know anymore?

Its usually given a VIN number after the paint process. I remember when I worked at BMW, my last job there, I was on the first line when they come out of the PBS (painted body storage). I had to write the VIN down and make sure it had a filler lid in the car.

I think I'm doing something wrong on the ETIS website. I rang the dealer today to confirm my chasis number, and it was all correct. He did say that is was the letter O not the number 0 though, but I think he just read it wrong.

Anyway, I log into the ETIS website and then type in my VIN number (WF0GXXGAJG9R08056) and it comes up that it cannot find the results.

Can someone else try and make sure im not doing something stupid please?!

The only reason I ask is because today the dealer told me that the status on my car had been updated this morning and it was being shipped from holland in the next few days.. was wondering how he got this information yet I couldn't view anything about the car via ETIS.
