2.0 mondeo 55 plate had £10 petrol by mistake and did 8 mile journey, have cleaned tank, new filter, £40 diesel, will start but is very lumpy for 2 minutes and pedal is unresponsive then all of a sudden it picks up and idles ok, ids came up with turbo actuator code so have replaced actuator, code cleared but still same problem, no fault codes at all, any help or advice welcome

You need to be wary of the fuel pump. Petrol strips it in seconds and long term you could have problems with it. It's an expensive part and can write off a car of that age.

Thanks the pump seems ok at the mo as it actually runs ok once warm, could it be injectors?

Update today ran it from cold this morning just standing still it cut out after 15 mins and now has fault code p132b??

that error is turbo related. your looking at the idea now of the turbo being sticky (vanes issue), the actuator not working as well as problems in the inlet manifold. as well as issues with the glow plugs themselves.
