HELP! the bearings have gone in the Air Conditioning pump/compressor on my 2001 Mondeo 2.0 Duratec HE, does anyone Know the length of the drive/serpintine belt for these when by passing the air conditioning, the normal size belt is 6PK2225


I just want to fit the shorter belt and by pass the A/C pulley to get the car mobile for now to get it home.

    Hi Jeff, according to my look - up the belt fitted is a 6PK1640 which is quite a bit shorter than the one you say is fitted, even though mine says 'with Air Con'. So you could try it, unless someone else has actually done this and lets you know the belt number! Hope this helps (a bit).
