Error Codes On My S-Max Tdci 2007

Featured Replies

Anybody have a good handle on this please?

My english sucks so sorry before you reading :)

I have two codes, one that says "oil change"

Said and done changed the oil a month ago.

Other error code showed up on Friday, "engine fault"

At the throttle, it goes a little svajjigt, just as it throttles somewhere, but it is not evenly.

So I went to store and bought a bottle of Wynns particulate filter cleaning, it said on the bottle high speed for 20 minutes, said and done on the road and cruised to a direction in 160-170km / h in 5th gear, the whole thing probably took 30-40 min before I get back, now I think it goes much better.

But the error code is still there, so went to the local garage, he had no time to do proper diagnosis, but could see that it was poor motor oil, and he se that is low fuel pressure with the other error code. So he turned off the error codes that appeared directly back when I started.

So my idea is then to replace the fuel filter and the engine oil and see if it can turn them off later.

But istake Castrol Magnatec pro A5 this time

I bought an engine oil from a store but not now if its good for my s-max, but it was fully synthetic 5-30. can the oil have so poor quality? or that he said on the garage expert "maybe got poor oil again"

Is there anyone who knows how to make a fuelfilter change in the right way in my s-max diesel?

Is it just to change and then open the valve at the top and start the car and let the air seep out until there is diesel and then close?

Am I completely out ??? What should I do ??

/Tony
