Number Plate Question???

Featured Replies

has any one used this place to get number plates made up?

http://www.demonplates.com/

I came across it and wouldn't mind getting new plates made up for my focus. I liked the 3D carbon print with the black border they do and the way you can customize a slogan.

Has any one (especially from Ireland) used this service and are they all road legal plates that can be used in Ireland (all over) and rest of the UK (all over) that wont get your pulled over and will pass M.O.T ok?

Thanks

:)

In the UK any logo other than the Euro stars or recognised regional logos is illegal.

You can have Euro, Union Flag, English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh flags but that's it.

The plate must have the details of the plate builder (company name or web address), postal code and must have the BSAU145D annotation.

Selling any other style or logos is illegal even if listed as show plates.

In the UK it is now illegal to offer show plates for sale anyway.

Thanks stoney for the reply mate.

My sample Plate using the Plate builder:

I made this sample using their plate builder to give you an idea of what I want to get. I think that the finish plate will have their web address printed on the bottom right corner as well as the BSAU145D annotation so id I went ahead and got these made would this sort of thing be legally ok and 100% for M.O.T ect.?

I just prefer the 3d text over the standard print but all letters and spacing are and should be the same as my old plates. also is there any where I can get this checked before I order so I can be 100%.

Cheers mate.
