Upgrading Mk3 Titanium X To St Tdci Front Bumper

Featured Replies

I've had some brilliant feedback from my other post and it shows there's a wealth of experienced owners here.

I'm looking at upgrading my front (and rear eventually) bumper to the st tdci bumper and spots. I've been trawling the interweb and I don't seem to be able to locate a reasonably priced one that's not scuffed, cracked or bashed up. I'd rather not have to do any fibreglass work myself. Does anybody know any of any reputable suppliers???

To do it properly, you will need to get an ST front bumper (tip - the ST220 is the same as the ST-TDCI) which has a top and bottom part, then you will need the rear bumper, and the sideskirts (these may be specific to the estate) you would need to get them resprayed to match your car colour - to get these items in good condition, then respray them (te chanses of obtaining them in the same colour is slim) would be expensive

And people will know its not an ST just be looking inside - to do the inside you would need all the seats (leather/ half leather pre/ post facelift are incompatible), the door skins, the clocks, etc etc

it could start becoming so expensive (2k+) you might be cheaper just getting an ST (remember, you should really inform your insurance- your premium may go up- again, you may be better just getting an ST)

Look at the chin spoilers (in black) then you would not need to re-spray your front bumper -

You can get aftermarket bodykits/ spoilers/ parts - ebay sells them
