Edit: This has now been fixed by Ford. It took about 30mins and from what I can gather they seem to have just loosened one of the bolts, released the tension and raised the seats back.

Their advice was .... just leave the centre seatbelt buckled when not in use....

HELP,

whilst having some lights installed on my car, my auto electrician folded down the rear seats.

Somehow the centre seatbelt inertia lock has activated and we have no clue how to deactivate it to enable the seats to be unfolded again.

Google seems to suggest it's a common problem but doesn't suggest any solutions.

Anyone come across this before ? How did you resolve it ?
