Mondeo St220 Prob

Featured Replies

Problem with my ST220 after about 10 miles the ESP light comes on . Now i have had the ABS fault in the onboard computer reset . I had the tyres , and tracking done , apparently the steering angle is 10-12 degrees out , would this throw up that light ? . Cannot turn it "off " when the light comes on , but before it does come on all is good works off the switch as it should. Stop , turn off ignition seems ok again for approx another 10 miles or so .

Been looked at with a Snap-on diagnostics machine , but there is no option to either re-align the steering angle sensor , or to reset .

Any info / help greatly appreciated as this is driving me nuts .

Did they do the front tracking and leave the steering wheel not in the straight-ahead position when the wheels are? - i hate that, iwould get them to do it again properly

Another possibility is the ABS sensors/ rings/ wires, all connected to the ESP
