Heated/cooled Seats

Featured Replies

Hi All.

So my 2006 titanium x has the heated/cooled seats and the heating part of it works fine (drivers switch controls drivers seat and passenger controls passenger seat etc...) but the cooling is behaving a bit oddly.

When i put the cooling on for the drivers seat nothing happens, but when i put the cooling on for the passenger seat both the passengers and the drivers fans kick in!

From what ive read this shouldn't happen as the wiring to and from the switch to the seats are completely seperate for driver and passenger.

All the wiring under the seat and behind the switch looks original too.

Has anyone come across this before or have any ideas why this could be happening?

Thanks in advance.

Phil

Do you switch the air circulation to go to foot level before switching the cooling on?

It's usually on foot level anyway, but ive just tried it with and without and still get the same issue.

Thanks

I can't say I've noticed this issue on mine, I will go and check when my son is in bed
