They'll look great mate! & Quite strange to watch at first though! Haven't audi started doing something similar with their "laser headlights" as they call them

I dont recommend speeding. Im not sure how i would feel driving in dark having my headlights moving around. On country lanes doing 60/70mph.Very strange

Yeah it'd be very strange! Suppose like most things in different cars you'd get used it.. Or sell the car! :)

Just a small update -

Got my headlights the other day and tried to open them , tried to be a smart alec and messed up my passenger side lens , tried a box with the head gun to save me time and didn't work out so had to order another passenger headlight , got my driver side open without messing anything up just used a heat gun, stanley and a screw driver. Still waiting on my projectors from china.

Shame about the passenger headlight! I know how easy it is to mess it up! Lots of other people used the heatgun in a box idea but I didn't have a box big enough!! Haha

In the end I opened them with a heatgun, screwdriver & Stanley knife

The projectors take a while to arrive.. But it's better than paying £55 rrp! :)

Another small update - Got my projectors today easy enough to install , cut a bit out of there adapter to make the projector sit straight, just to be sure I set them both up on a level surface and put some light in them and both seem straight. Planning on resealing them tomorrow. Still waiting on both my hid kit and the bulbs.

Glad to hear they arrived okay! & well done for getting them lined up properly! I kept the notch in the inside of the adapter & changed the locations of the notches on the outside but your idea looks much much easier!

I thought I could get away with using the original sealant but I started getting really bad condensation genes why I had to reseal them! :)

Make sure you give them a real good clean out inside with an air compressor/Hoover :)

To check the alignment I stuck them on the car had to use my mates garage because the weather is rubbish. I ordered some more sealant gonna use that to be on the safe side. Got some stuff to clean them I can see all my hand marks on the lenses from when I opened them. For the HID kit I ordered the H4 Hi/Lo like you said and decided to go with 5000K H1 bulbs.

If you don't fancy baking the headlights again.. You could always do what I did to reseal them;

Lay the headlight so that the lens is facing the sky. Use a heatgun on a low temperature and keep going around the outside of the headlight in circuits to get the sealant slowly upto temperature.. This way you don't risk damaging the headlight or burning the sealant

Then you can rest the lenses on the sealant and continue to heat it and slowly apply even pressure to the lens! There's a fine line between too cold & too hot! You can tell instantly by looking at the sealant. Try using a few offcuts of sealant to practise on, that's what I ended up doing :)

Once the ballast arrives, it's pretty clear how to wire the projectors. I think it was just two wires for the cutoff and the other two for the bulbs :)

Got them today but the seller I bought them off sent me the wrong ones so gonna have to wait a few days more. Got my H1 bulbs sitting there planning on resealing the headlights tomorrow if I have the time. Apart from that just playing the waiting game.

I got some H8/H9/H11 bulbs , I wouldn't have minded if they send the wrong bulbs just the wiring harness I am really after. Got on to them today, not heard back yet hopefully hear back tomorrow and see about getting a replacement.

Ah that's annoying! They sent me the wrong H1 replacement bulbs at first! 6k instead of 5k.. Well. That's what the packaging said. They then said that 5k & 6k bulbs have the same packaging! Makes sense! -_-.

I will do , I am currently just cleaning out the old sealant so that its easy for me to use the new stuff. Hoping to seal them once and thats it.

But after washing & waxing the other day I noticed this in the passenger headlight

That sucks , A fixed I've used before was some silicone in a syringe and just filled the seal might be worth a shot instead of resealing the full thing.

Got my first headlight sealed tonight , Planning on doing the other side tomorrow. Still waiting on my replacement hid kit should hopefully be here Tuesday or Wednesday. Also gonna take some pictures tonight of my standard lights for a before and after.

Finished sealing my headlights tonight and also got my hid replacement aswell. Took some before pictures, picked out the best ones and attached them below. Hoping to get them all installed tomorrow if the weather is good.
