nbuuifx Posted October 27, 2014 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Just booked my Mondeo in to have the rear badge replaced for free. Does it really take 1.5 hours!? They said they have to do a full check of the car as well. All for free so not too fussed, but does anyone know what they do? Is it just a quick visual check or do they do software checks/updates too? I wasn't sure if I should mention the minor issue I have (if I touch the throttle at all when starting when the engine is warm then it only revs to 500 rpm - not a major issue, I just don't touch the throttle!) I don't really want to get charged for anything but it will be handy to have it checked over as I have a warranty which is still valid and covers quite a lot. Give your local a call, you've got to be quite quick though - you've only got until the end of Dec. ralph Posted November 4, 2014 Share Posted November 4, 2014 I had overlays on for a while to hide this... Carbon effect on grey car looked nice. I found that the front one soon started to come away... I guess it's because it's in the line of fire for wind & rain & stones etc Rear one was ok but seeing as Ford replace them for free I thought I might as well go for it!
