Turbo Chra Cassette

Featured Replies

hi could anybody tell please if you have to remove turbo to change cassette or can it be done in situ and are there and pitfalls thanks

Solved by grumpyoldgit

Yes you would have to remove the turbo to replace the cassete not to sure of how long it will take on the 1.6 but I know the 2.0 tdci was a dock yard job to do your suppose to change the banjo bolt as well but you can buy the new filter that fits inside separately around £20 from ford almost certain it has to be balanced as well I put a reconditioned unit on mine so that would of been balanced when it was reconned not sure with just replacing the cassete though . Make sure no debri goes in otherwise your wasting your time and effort .
