Few Minor Issues Needing Advice.

Featured Replies

Ok first let me start with if this is in the wrong section can an admin please move it.

now that out the way i'll start listing my issues and if anyone can advise on any of them that would be great.

car is a 1999 mondeo 2.0 zetec petrol. now the issue list.

1, my temp gauge rarly go's passed the "C" on the gauge. the car drives fine and i dont seem to over heat but the gauge not moving does consern me.

2, the handbreak warning light dont come on. havent changed the bulb yet in the dash but could this be something known elsewhere, dont really want to strip the dash for a bulb if its know to be something else.

3, my key buttons always work on the passenger front door and rear doors but sometimes fails to unlock/lock the drivers door. normally when its wet outside.

4, i have a lot of condensation in the car. matrix seems fine and im not losing coolant. my guess for this would be window/boot seals! am i thinking in the rite place on this one.

5, i have plugged in and tried a ELM ODB II bluetooth reader it connects to my software but cant connect to the ECU. what device should i use on my mondeo for code reading.

and finally

6, rear middle seatbelt is jammed up and wont move. i seen another post saying losening it might help going to try that later but im still open to any ideas what may cause this or what might fix it if losening it dont.

thanks in advance for any replys i get the car is new to me and needs a fair bit of work on the arches (its a ford i expected no differant) but the engine and interior look nice so i would like to keep it running well and turn it into a nice family car.

thanks again

YBTURBO.
