Why Didn't Fusion Get More Powerful 1.6?

Just a thought, was there any technical reason why the Fusion didn't get the more powerful versions of the Ford 1.6 petrol engine (e.g. 115 bhp version from Focus or 120 bhp version from MK6 Fiesta?)

I suppose with the volumes they sold it wasn't worth re-tooling? Just would have given the range an image boost later in the run...
