Floor Mats

Featured Replies

Hi,

I think I've got standard mats in my Focus atm. They're shaped well but they're thin, grey, wrinkled and worn.

In my previous Golf/Vectra/107 etc the genuine mats were fairly thick and hardwearing, which these don't seem to be!

I've seen some genuine velour mats...but they're over my budget unfortunately!

So I was wondering if anyones found some aftermarket decent, thick, fitted, comfy/velour mats? Or the genuine velour ones at a sensible price? There's so many on ebay I don't know where to start so thought I'd ask any recommendations lol!

Cheers

Tom

Hi mate

I have these ones in my car.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Genuine-FORD-FOCUS-MK2-2005-2010-Set-of-4-Tailored-Carpet-Car-Floor-Mat-Set-/160749482670?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item256d6a72ae

They are genuine ford ones and are a little thin but I found that most of the mats I looked at where the same so I went for these and at the price I thought they weren't bad even if you have to replace them in a few years time it wont break the bank lol!

Saying that I have had these now for over a year and they do get heavy use and are still in top form, so for me it was good value. all fittings and fixings come with them and I like the added touch of the "focus" text on the drivers one.

hope this helps. :)

Hi Tom,

I have the same mats as Sonic. They are fine.

Thanks guys.

Mine don't have the heel pad or Focus text so maybe they aren't genuine afterall! Saved those in the watch list. :D

I bought my car in July, no mats so I went to Halfords to get some as a temporary measure, they have their own 'semi tailored' stiff cloth mats, I put mark 2 Focus ones in and they fit perfectly, only cheap but showing no signs of wear after three months, they have the screw mount too to stop drivers from moving, if you chose to use it.

Thanks but I'm not after rubber ones, prefer the carpet ones. :)
