Mark 2 Focus Front-End (Inner Wing): What Is This?

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I'm (slowly) doing a rebuild of the front end of my 55 plate TDCi, and currently working on the nearside wing and internal housings. (I'm not a mechanic, so it's slow going... )

Can anyone tell me what this is?

Do I actually need it? Is it just trim?

I've got the old one, which is smashed to bits, but struggling to know what to search for when looking for a new/salvaged one (the part code in the above doesn't seem to help).

Thanks in advance.

It"s a wheelhouse trim (reinforces the wheel arch liner).

It's Finis (part) code F1419848 and about £9 from a Ford dealers parts counter.
