Fiesta Mk7.5 Zs - Rev Limit When Idle

Featured Replies

Makes sense now, as when I had my remap on my 1.0 EcoBoost... they did a dyno run after uploading the map. But the revs wouldn't go past 4,000k, which got me worried - we were all scratching our heads at the time.

They told me to take it for a spin, to which I did. I was pleased to see the rev needle blast past the 4,000k within a flicker... plus with the traction control light flashing, I knew the remap had been successfully uploaded - as I was pushed (with force) back into the driver seat ;)

I have a Ford Feista trend and when I engage reverse gear I seem to lose a lot of revs.

This only happens in reverse and if I am reversing up a slope I have to start with a lot of throttle.
