I put my Mondeo in for a new DMF, clutch was fine apparently but the DMF was on its way out at 146,000 I felt it was no shame to it, also found it prudent to have the slave cylinder changed as well. At the same time I asked the garage if they could change my rear bushes as the last mot had that as an advisory, unfortunately they didn't have the tool to do the job, my point is if any mk4 owners are considering getting rear bushes changed check the garage has the tool 1st, the garage have had to order the tool which are quite expensive apparently
