I have a Mk3 2002 Mondeo 1.8 injection 16v and recently i ran fuel tank dry and now i get misfiring and shuddering from car so i applied petrol cleaner in to tank and still no fix, since then i have replaced the fuel filter and new spark plugs and tomorrow i shall perform a compression test. i have been told 200 is a good reading for a test with fords, as i am quite new to car mechanics.. also is it true that a common fault is that coil and leads can be come none working and may need replacing as this also could relate to misfiring but have not changed air filter yet. can any members give me ideas please and am i doing the right things... thanks
