At the invitation of FMC( Dutch FORD MONDEO CLUB) I, and about 30 FMC members,have witnessed last saturday a unique meeting at ..... Ford dealer Broekhuis in Zeist, Netherlands.

Was organized by David Roosendaal and others and it was just perfect. Dealer has created a drink and meal and there was someone from FORD NETHERLANDS present to represent the mondeo mk5. After the presentation there was an opportunity to test the mk5, there were two versions available:

Petrol: 1.5 ECOBOOST WAGON(estate) AUT 118kW(160bhp) and 110kW(150 bhp) 2.0 tdci wagon. Fine specimens, interior to lick fingers..Dash and center console magnificent.(in my opinion) noiseless. The petrol version has, for mr, a slight preference as compared to the diesel version.I am used to my monster mondeo so maybe I had the impression that they still responded more slowly on the accelerator, in other words: turbo comes in, too late.
