Name That Part...

Featured Replies

Ok so I am going to be replacing the EGR valve on my 2.0 litre 53 plate Duratec this week, I have taken a look at it and there are a few other parts I need to remove.

1) the airbox pipe

2) the coil

The coils sit on a silver box with a big coolant pipe going into it. This coolant pipe blocks access to the 2nd bolt that holds in the EGR valve. If I take it off, because it contains coolant, it will need a gasket. Does anyone know what this silver box with a coolant pipe is called so that I can get a gasket for it please? Its directly below the coil and has 4 8mm (possible 10mm) bolts holding it in.
