Hi, as above, the square (ish) plastic surround around the the rear seat release button is missing on my newley acquired Mondeo Mk4 estate,

Can anyone tell me how to describe it properly and/or the part number, so that I can get a replacement?

Change your computers date to 02/11/2014 and it will work as it's a timed expiry.

Microcat will still run if you do that.

What you need is a seat latch bezel, same fit for either side however you need to be sure of the colour.

Is that a case of set the date before running the software?

Yes.

Set to 02/11/15 and open microcat.

Reset date after you finish or else websites will play up.

They often get confused if you don't.

If you're using VMware or any other emulator to run microcat then you only need to change the date on the virtual OS.

yeah thats what I am doing, I will give it another crack, as I changed the date after the error, which probably killed it lol

I thought mine had died but it is purely a timed expiry.

Altering the date should be enough.

If need be - uninstall, remove residual files, change the date and reinstall.
