Car was at garage

Egr blanking plate was fitted yesterday which sorted out the black smoke problem I had......

But....... Could they fit it anywhere differently to where it should be fitted?

It's sorted out the smoke problem but doesn't seem to have as much power as it did before ! It's almost as the turbo Is not working! It doesn't hold back it pulls evenly but doesn't seem as powerful.....

Does the blanking plate give cleaner exhaust and better fuel economy at the expense of grunt?

    Hi mark. Have you checked the hoses for splits? It might just take a while for the computer to get used to the new flow. I did mine at the weekend mine is an 06 but i did not get a check engine light and no error codes. It does feel a little slower but time may tell.

    Hi! Can't find any splits! Cars running fine but not any quicker..... I phoned terra clean for an egr and pipe clean but they wanted £250 to do it! The engine light is on but it's because of the blanking plate fitted! I'm thinking of taking egr system off completely and having a remap done instead
