Ok, slightly unusual question for you to debate - I currently have a white zetec 1.6tdci fiesta on a 60 plate, and current values off of wewantanycar type websites are quite strong - enough to make it a possibility to upgrade to a tit x mondeo 1.6tdci on a 61 plate - with over 100k miles- which also in white looks just as exciting. Any thoughts either way?

I know the mileage is high, that's why it's cheap - but the condition forgetting that appears to be very good, it's a very high spec, and as long as the engine/gearbox don't give up in the next 30K, we'll get 6 years of luxury motoring. (and if they do, a grand will put that right anyway)

So having said that, what I was hoping for were any comments about the quality of the mondeo from 2011, how the 1.6tdci works in it, real world mpg - stuff like that

I can't speak for the 1.6 TDCi, but my MK 4.5 Mondeo is just a joy to drive.

As above I can only comment on the 2.0 and 2.2 and both were fantastic to drive
