Hi all weekend at last. I was on my way to get the kids from school started the car and saw smoke possibly exhaust gas coming from the acuator. Stopped the car started again no smoke but the arm seems to be twitching all over the place and the engine sounds rough. When i got back from school i blanked the egr. Any ideas please i have not had her long

    Its not the acuator. I disconnected it and started the engine there is black soot on the back of the arm and turbo.i took a picture

    I dont know if this is related but could it be the head gasket leaking on somthing at the back of the engine and causing the smoke it does smell like exhaust gas but only happens at start up and last about 60 seconds.i found an oil tide mark at the front
