Can anyone help? I have posted this before, I own a 2003 mk3 mondeo, at certain rev ranges there is an annoying deep rattle? sounds vaguely like either heat shield, air filter box or exhaust brackets? can any one give some guidance, I have tried to re create at standstill whilst trying to listen under the bonnet, however to no avail? can anyone help?

    Check the turbo pipe for hitting the front cross member

    I agree with pragmatix, check the turbo pipes that bolt onto the front of the subframe, have seen them snap and rattle under boost.
