Seelvor
Good Evening, I have, just today, purchased a Ford Fusion 2 with a 4500 CD Stereo System, which has strips of the car's trim running across. Can anyone tell me what my options are for replacing the stereo in this car with something better? Thanks, Steve
rhys1606
Buying a facia kit and cut the bits of trim across the front
Arrowhead23
The best and cheapest way to do it is to remove the fascia - there are some good videos on YouTube (look for ford fiesta radio change) - then cut the bits of trim out to fit a double or single din radio housing. Note once you cut the fascia its cant then be put back to factory setting; if you don't want to cut it you can buy a fitted panel; Google this -> Ford Fusion Single Din SAT/NAV Radio Bezel RDH <- That will take you too fordparts.com where you can buy it :) Hope this helps A
Stoney871
The Fusion3 takes a standard Ford double din radio so if you can get one of those dash fascias then it's easier to get spacer panels to fit true double or single din radios. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2009-FORD-FUSION-RADIO-CLIMATE-CONTROL-SURROUND-TRIM-P-N-6N11-N047A04-BE-/141573178040?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20f66b42b8 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-FUSION-08-DASHBOARD-RADIO-FASCIA-CLIMATE-CONTROL-SWITCH-SURROUND-TRIM-/271607073397?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f3d0b0a75
