bazzaboy09
Hi people. I have a 55 reg 115 2l mondeo which had a fault coming back as P0203 - Cylinder 3 Injector Circuit Malfunction. so we did a leak back test and it poring out with diesel. my brother then took it out straight away without starting it and took the injector apart and cleaned it up. he then put the injector back and now its just cranking over and over with a fault of low fuel pressure when cranking. but it did run before he took apart. we had another injector which allowed the engine run before he did above, So put the injector back and coded it back in, and try and it is still coming up with low fuel pressure. Any ideas would be great Barry Ps on the diagnostic it is showing a bar of 17 when cranking.
mintalkin
how was the injector stripped and cleaned at home without the specalised equipment needed, any damage to the pin, spring, control valve or adapter plate would have ruined the injector. i would start by doing another leak off test.
