Hi all,

I'm new to the forum.

I have a 2007 mondeo titanium x 2.0 diesel.

Recently the engine management light has come on, I had the RAC out to check and it's the DPF filter,

Now I've read that I can re gen this by driving at high revs for 25 miles or so

Is this correct?

Also once ive done this will the light go out or do I have to plug it in to reset light?

I'm trading the car in next fri (10th apr) so I need this light out.

I'm still sticking with ford so I pick up a 2012 s max 2.0 tdci 163 titanium x sport.
