im a newbie to the club although admitably my first 2 cars back in 1993 and 1994 were both Fiestas! Anyway I have just bought my partner an 07 plate Fiesta and am pretty impressed with it - it has many of the features that my own 4x4 has!

I am keen to know what the original price would have been for it as its got quite a few extras on it, its a Aug 07 model, 1.4 Zetec Climate 3 door with metallic paint, sport pack and tech pack, it has colour coded door handles and protective strips, body coloured power fold mirrors, rear spoiler, privacy glass and 16 inch 7 spoke alloys - not sure if any of these are part of the packs so thought i would mention them)

I'd say probably around £13k as the Zetec was about £11k and then you have lots of extras on it. I'm not sure though don't count me on it!!!

The sport pack consists of 16" 7 spoke alloys (instead of the regular15" 5 spoke) and the privacy glass.

the tech pack consists of auto lights,auto wipers,remote controll audio,twin remote keys,and powerfold mirrors

I think it was about £13k or maybe a little more.

be aware that the passenger door powerfold mirror does have a tendancy to "overshoot" when closing,and you hear a "click,click click" and the mirror jumps in time with the clicking,its called motor overshoot and the dealers are aware nothing you can do except have a new mirror at £120 plus fitting,...............Ford are aware............ mine was done under waranty if yours is an 07 you should have about 1 year ford waranty left.so keep an eye out for that one.

other that that great car,I got mine last november love it.........

If you can clarify the exact model I can find the list price for the car,there are 4 1.4 3door versions.

there is 1.4 zetec,1.4 zetec climate (with air con) 1.4 diesel and 1.4 diesel climate.

On cars built post 09.2006 the door handles,body stripes and mirror covers were colour coded for zetecs.

The rear spoiler is also standard zetec fit.

i havent done bad then, 2 years old, 15000 mile for £6,500 from a Ford dealer and I got them to throw in 12 month roadtax and a full service - well pleased!! :D
