De-Badging

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, first post...

Ordered my Zetec S in deep impact blue last week, will be a few weeks before it arrives...

First thing I wanted to do was remove the badges on the rear. Just wanted to see if anyone has done this themselves?

I'm aware of the heatgun/hair dyer and fishing line/floss method. Unsure though if there is a particular spray to remove the adhesive after the badges have been removed? Also, do I use microfibre cloths when wiping away the adhesive?

Alternatively, does anyone know of any body shops in London that would do this for me so I don't really muck it up when I get round to it?

theres not much to really "muck up" . just take your time . you can buy tar and glue remover from car shops .
