Hi, I was working on our car today and when I took the engine cover off I found this pipe .....

That doesn't look right to me !! Does anyone know if its right / what size it is so that I can get another pipe ?

Looks like its the breather pipe just before the turbo.

Thanks

Looked up pictures on Google, it doesn't look like the correct hose, looks like someone bodged that on hence the kinks.

Give ford a try for a new hose, sometimes it's surprising how cheap they can be. I bought a hose for a mk5 which the previous owner had taped together, thought it would be loads, turned out to be £11.

It does look dodgy lol The car was a company car before I bought it so Id assumed the garage on the service history had done any work to it !!

I'll try Ford tomorrow. Do you know what this pipe is called or how Id get a part number ?

Thanks

Sorry, no idea. Take a picture in on your phone, some parts men are really helpful they should be able to find it via the reg number.

If not look up breakers on eBay but, you don't know how long the used past will last.

If I can't get one from Ford then it looks like its just standard pipe with a right angled bend. maybe I could get some bent pipe from a motor factors.

Thanks for your help
