Mpg On Fusion 1.6 Petrol

Featured Replies

Well I've now done 4,000 miles in my Fusion since I bought it in October, and over that period I have got 42.2 mpg. Really pleased with that.

I do a fair bit of motorway driving toddling along at 60.

Its only a bit less that the Ford EcoBoosts are getting according to Honest John figures.

7p a mile in petrol ain't bad.

Sounds good to me...What do you think it is doing around town?

  • Author

Not sure, but its never gone below 38 mpg on an individual tank, that involved quite a lot of stop start driving around town. Manual calculation as my 2002 model doesn't have the trip computer.

I hoping to get it Terraclean-ed at some point that might improve the MPG a bit further.
