People who switched from MK2 to Mk3 don't you miss the boot space???

You get used to it.

Worth it for a newer car.

I have not sat in the back haha, but im no giant anyway ☺, boot is fine for what i need it for so i don't worry about it being smaller that the mk2

Sadly the reduced boot space is tempting me away from the next upgrade being a MK3.5 to a Mondeo Titanium X Sport. The more I look at the Mondeo, the more it looks like a good fit for our growing family.

I was going to fit my Android Pod, good job I checked, my Bluetooth adapter does NOT work on the New mk3.5 strangely !!!, I have yet to test it on wife's fiesta, but it was working when I took it out of the Mk3.

I'm wondering now if Ford have restricted the OBD2 port in some way different to the MK3 .

In the mean time I have brought Matt Black and 8D Black wrap, to wrap around the climate area, not sure which to use yet, I have however dissected it all including the Sync2 haha, wow , not as easy to get it all out as the same as the Mk3, haha.

The planned lower section Dash wrap failed, I tried twice, but I just could not get it to sit nice around the centre storage, and as the storage is slotted and screwed to the back of the dash trim, there is no way I could hold it in place and cover it, shame really it would have looked great, in Black 8D glossy.

hows the mpg now you've had it a while, I noticed yours is the 182bhp, mine will be 150, but would be interesting to know, does look great by the way

CUDGEL mpg is running a 34.6 at the moment but that was due to some long trips and a reset. As the engine is now run in. My heavy foot is bring it down haha

How does the MPG compare to your 1.6?

Alex, MPG on the 1.5 is better than the 1.6, I got as low as 28 mpg on the 1.6, seemed very thirsty, i'm only at 1200 miles so far so I guess it could still get better :)

now ive covered a massive 244 miles its reading 36mpg 1.5 petrol 150bhp. pree did the calipers come as standard?

No I painted them very easy £15 kit off eBay

Took about 2 hours mostly because of removing the wheels.

Does anyone know if there is a guide in changing the rear spoiler like the one Preee did?..

If you buy the spoiler from Ford it comes with instructions iirc.

I had a MK3 put heko's on it and got loads of wind noise and the window scratched against it going up and down.

Is this ok on your car?

I have moved on to a MK3.5

Not new, getting one off that auction site...Genuine ford though.
