Hard Clutch

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just bought a Fiesta Titanium 2012 1.4 TDCI and I'm finding the clutch to be really hard and can't wait to come back up when depressed. When i change gear it's hard but bearable but when i have to hold it down it is almost like it is going to come up through my shoes if that makes sense?!

Is this a Fiesta thing??

Thanks for any help :D

Have you checked to make sure your mats aren't getting stuck under the clutch? That's a big issue with the rubber mats.

If that's not it - if you change into 5th as low a speed as possible and floor the accelerator once in gear. The rev counter should rise slowly.

If its heavy operation, likely the clutch is worn.

Take it back to the garage and get a refund.
