Well, Just became the owner of a '51 plate Mk5 Fiesta Freestyle 1.25.

Just got a few questions about the motor;

First off, what sort of performance enhancement :P is available for it thats actually worth doing, e.g. im not gonna spend silly money on an exhaust for the sake of 3hp

And also does anyone know of a wiring adaptor to fit an aftermarket cd player to it?

dont know much about perfomance upgrades but the loom adaptor is easy.

if it aint a iso connector which i dont think it is

you can get a lead from halford ect converts from ford to iso which will fit the wiring on new head unit wouldn't bother with mod's on that m8

Better still, get this, all you need and a bargain price.

Almost identical to my car, ive fitted a new head unit and the only problem i had was getting the cage to stay in place, ended up using some small rubber wedges hidden behind to wedge it in place. Let me know if you have the same problem please :)

Not completely true...I've had 85bhp out of a 998cc Mini, and 110bhp from a 1275 Mini.
