Buying a spare wheel

Featured Replies

Hi all,

does anyone know where I could get a spare wheel from for my Fiesta? Keep meaning to buy one as I never got one with the purchase of the car unfortunately.

Thanks in advance

It's a shame you didn't ask for one when you ordered your car, as it would have just cost £30.00 (or free if you ask nicely like I did to my dealer). They are a lot dearer if you order them afterwards unfortunately.

There are a few other options of course. Car parts suppliers (local or internet), scrap yards or even Ebay. (I've just found one here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-FIESTA-MK-6-%2F...818152002r26142 for instance)

Sarc.

As I also did not have a spare wheel I had to order a Jack, Wheel Brace and the plastic holder to secure the wheel in the well in the boot, altogether with the wheel and tyre it came to £150.00 from the Ford Dealer.

Ouch!

Just thought id add, if you bought a new mk7 fiesta and got the inflation kit instead you can swap this for the spare tyre kit within the 28days of picking up your car.

Does this work with any other option, or is it limited to the spare wheel?
