Sorted car insurance last night after 7 day free insurance with ford run out

Looking around at quotes as can park car in garage or on the street, and ive always gone with the idea that putting down you leave the car in the garage will mean cheaper car insurance

not so anymore!

my insurance company reckon that parking my car on the street means that i pay £50 less on my insurance than if i put in a locked, steel door, concrete reinforced garage

    lol, i remember when i got married, i phoned my insurance company up to tell them that my wife had changed her name, I was then told my insurance had gone down by £50 as she was my wife now, lol worth the £15k wedding.

    another one is if you put a girl as a named driver on your insurance it goes down aswell even if she will never drive it :lol:

    My insurance went down when I took my ex-bf off. Then when I added my added my current bf it reduced the policy by about £30. Strange!

    Maybe by keeping it in a garage they think that it will be more liable to accidental damage from parking it.
