Paint Coming off Locking Wheel Nuts?

Noticed after I had cleaned my car the other day that on a couple of my alloys the paint was coming off the locking wheel nut (will put a pic up in a bit) and it was now looking more the colour of the alloy wheel than the colour of the other wheel nuts - not a big problem really but has anyone else had this?
