Supercharger Kit Fiesta MK7 1.6 TI-VCT

Featured Replies

Interesting, but is it worth almost 4,000 euros? Don't think so.

cant see why anyone would buy this, a Focus ST would be better and just as fast for the same total price

Must... try... and... resist! lol.

Little on the steep side but it would be a great project if I had the spare cash lying around. Although I'd probably rather wait until one of the established UK tuners like jamsport etc. develop their own kit as they have done with the old shape ST.

It's obviously true that you could buy faster standard cars for similar money, but a fairly rapid fiesta with some sexy supercharger whine would be fun no doubt!

nice but i wouldnt like to take that back in for warranty work if anything went pear shaped!!

Not sure it is worth the extra money over the Mountune (assuming they have sorted out the power loss problems)

Hi there,

I drive mondeo which is same engine equipped (1.6 tivct123hp). I just build my custom SC to my engine. My SC is eaton m45. I bought that fm ebay. It was taken from mcs.

I think that, they used vortex or similar SC at that kit. Cuz there is a pipe at the upper site of radiator. If they are really used an intercooler, they do not need that pipe. They may install tdci intercooler to the front side of radiator. FMIC is more efficient.

Yeah i know mondi underhood seems like huge space, but it is not true. :)

Worth it if your just goin to run the car on a track. True - good luck with warranty work.

my car is already passed 40K miles and im driving for two and half years. So warranty is already finished.

i don't have any problems with mine......

i don't have any problems with mine......

TBH I did think that Michelle's must have been an early 'failture' as there is no way that the conversion would be getting the good press it has had recently if they were all suffering witht he same problem

As you guys already know, I've been quite keen to have mine done but there's no way I'm having it done until Mountune or whoever it is sorts out this power loss problem once and for all.

I've already paid enough for the car without shelling out another 2k for a conversion which could render my car into a white elephant!

Poor Michelle's had loads of grief over all this and at last count still hasn't had it sorted.......doesn't exactly inspire you with confidence about the whole thing does it?

unfortunately I dont think thats the case, someone else on here has had their car only a few weeks has experienced power loss twice, he sent me a message. Also I go on other forums and there are people whom are having the same problem, these people didnt have theirs done at Mountune head office but through Ford dealerships. Also when a reporter has the mountune demo car, they get in it, they drive it, they thrash it, they spin it, they park it up, get out and hand back the keys and write their report, they dont however, then start it up within the hour and drive it again - this is when the power loss will happen, never from a cold start. Mountune stated their car wasnt having problems, yet within 24 hours of me borrowing the car and with my driving pattern ie short multiple runs thorughout the day, the power loss thing happened numerous times.

Im starting the think this will never be resolved now.
