Black bits on paintwork?

Featured Replies

I've got some black specks on my paintwork just behind the offside front wheel. I think it might be tar, whatever it is it's a !Removed! to get off! :)

Has anyone had this before and if so what's the best way of removing it?

Cheers!

Road tar remover? sorry couldnt resist it lol

It sounds like Tar or fallout - claying the car would be the way to go. Failing that, Autoglym Tar Remover.

The key thing is to remove it gently. Don't use lots of pressure, and use the right tools/products for the job.

I just clay barred my Yaris, this removed the tar that had been there for 6 years, and to be honest it really wasn't hard to do.
